I got really into skateboarding (vertical) in the late 70's when the first uethane wheels came out. A fews years back I got into electric skateboards (had 3 of them). I sold them after doing a few 25mph superman launches when hitting something in the road. :icon14:

Fortunately, we had a ton of skate parks in So. Cal. and I had a membership to all of them. We would street skate when we weren't at the skateparks. We'd travel all over looking for empty swimming pools.

Yeah, I agree... best weather in the USA. And agree again... pretty f'd up otherwise.

True.. I used to ride up into Palos Verdes on my Cervelo Tri-bike... loved the downhill runs! Yeah, chics on the west side were pretty solid.. no complaints there.

All 4 seasons. Tons of snow and freezing. Some snow and cold. Stupidly faking hot with 100% humidity. And slight snow while trying to rake leaves.

I rode up the front side of Baldy, that was gruelling. SM mountains has some extremely technical hills.

The one's in my area have been ridden hard and unfortunately, they haven't been put away yet. Oh, and they're 100% nuts.
