I got really into skateboarding (vertical) in the late 70's when the first uethane wheels came out. A fews years back I got into electric skateboards (had 3 of them). I sold them after doing a few 25mph superman launches when hitting something in the road. :icon14:

I bought a replacement in September, drove it twice to get it tagged and inspected and it hasn't moved since my birthday in October..... :icon14::icon14:

I'm ready to pull it out and do donuts in a parking lot when the next snow comes, just to say I drove it....:eek:

Fortunately, we had a ton of skate parks in So. Cal. and I had a membership to all of them. We would street skate when we weren't at the skateparks. We'd travel all over looking for empty swimming pools.

Yeah, I agree... best weather in the USA. And agree again... pretty f'd up otherwise.

Oh, the Hermosa Beach Comedy Club was always fun when I lived in your hood. So, that, and the weather... and the surfing. Otherwise... :icon17:

The last time mine moved was Dec 6th. That was the first time I moved it since the beginning of Nov. It won't move again until spring. :icon14: But it's winter project time.

I'm about 2 miles from the Comedy Club. You forgot the girl's. I got into cycling, a lot of great area's for that too.

Leingod 12-13-2018 11:41 AM

Haven't even seen mine since end of Oct. Storage facility until April or may.

True.. I used to ride up into Palos Verdes on my Cervelo Tri-bike... loved the downhill runs! Yeah, chics on the west side were pretty solid.. no complaints there.

its a rough life having seasons lol

Leingod 12-13-2018 11:48 AM

All 4 seasons. Tons of snow and freezing. Some snow and cold. Stupidly faking hot with 100% humidity. And slight snow while trying to rake leaves.

FPenvy 12-13-2018 11:49 AM

Just use the mobile data Hotspot from your phone if really needed. The download isn't big.

I know PV roads like the back of my hand. I've ridden all the hills in the Santa Monica and San Gabriel mountains along with Baldy. The girl's still look good, too bad I've gotten so old. :rofl2:

Dude, that's some riding! I rode the SM mountains when I lived in Marina Del Rey, but BALDY? Damn, that's a hike!!!

Yep, we get older, but the hot chics seem to stay the same age. Wait, hold on... :rofl2:

I rode up the front side of Baldy, that was gruelling. SM mountains has some extremely technical hills.

We just don't look at the chic's our age, that's why they appear to not be aging.

When my brother first moved to Arizona, he used to tell me that the girls there were really hot, hotter than Ca.girls. I used to think he was crazy. But now, Id definitely have to agree with him!

Be careful in PV, PV cops hate our cars. PCH north of Malibu is a blast. Have fun! :driving:

The one's in my area have been ridden hard and unfortunately, they haven't been put away yet. Oh, and they're 100% nuts.

They're all about the money out here but they're still fun to look at.

We have a joke around here. You don't break up, you just lose your turn. :rofl2:
