I HATE our wireless scanner. It is so easy to forget the OBD dongle in a car and let the customer drive off with half the scanner. It’s nice to be able to have freedom of movement when diagnosing but not worth the risk of losing the dongle.

Your dongle is the last thing you want to lose. :rofl2:

Didn't the US taxpayers save all of those jobs under Obama :shakes head:
and wasn't the Chevy Volt supposed to be the future of GM ? ( Volt is done )
Remember when GM had Saturn, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Hummer, Volvo, and we the tax payers had to bail out a company in which nobody wanted to buy their JUNK.....
Well here we go again

old guy 11-27-2018 09:45 AM

All I know if I ran a retail store and nobody wanted my products, I would have to close my doors NOT get bailed out by the tax payers

I totally agree! And the Volt is the biggest surprise of all the model cuts to me.

I live right in the middle of big 3 country, GM employees everywhere ( big discounts )
And I've seen very few Volts ....... come to think of it I think I've seen more Tesla's than Volts.

Remember when they gave that stupid tax credit if you bought a Volt instead of lowering the price. It was just to trick people into buying them. That’s not the way you should determine prices. Drop the price of the car to the point people are willing to buy it. That’s the beauty of capitalism. The consumer determines the price point.

The Volt has one of the most screwed up drivetrains there is. And there have been issues with it.

we got 2-3" as well however i have 2 days off remaining this year and they're already in and based on low employee numbers really hard to move and get re approved based on head count.

We used to have a guy at work that would come back from vacation, press control+A and delete his whole inbox.

His whole standpoint was if it’s important they’ll fuckin’ send it again.

Yea, I used to get something like that at the plant after I've been off for 5 days. When I would take off 19 days every year to do my trips out west. I didn't even begin to count how many there was. Just the number of pages. It was always over 10 pages. 95% junk, or they needed an answer within hours of sending the e-mail. :shakes head:

Rusty 11-27-2018 08:41 PM
