NY is just as bad as CA. Not gun law related, but I remember working in NY one time, at the airport flying back home, I was going through the TSA screening. The little old lady in front of me had a nail file confiscated. Meanwhile, I forget to transfer some tools from my carry on bag to my check in bag. I had a 22" screwdriver, hammer and other tools. TSA looks at them, looks at me, probably thought I was cute because he winked and let me through...lol :eekdance:

Drove a 50th Anniversary camaro SS with the 6.2 yesterday.
It felt bulky in the front. Visibility is worse than the Z, but there are indicators in the mirror to show you if anyone is in your blind spot. Pulls like crazy in 2nd.
Something to do. I was interested in one, but the excitement wore off when they showed me the bottom dollar price 4500 higher than another dealer close by. Nah. Don't need another summer car.
Drove my Z yesterday. Have dead batteries in the fobs. Had to push it into the dash.
I have only 15K miles in 9 years. It is just a garage queen. kind of depressing.
My kid turned 17 yesterday. I let him take the 1960 Chevy c-10 to school. He was happy. Hope you all have a great weekend.

5 hour training class

Wait about 3 hours to get a massive packet of paperwork at the local office

Fill out all paperwork in blue ink only. Bring paperwork back to office and wait 3 more hours to deliver.

Get call from cops 3 weeks later to set up appointment to do fingerprints 3 months from now.

Do finger prints and send official release to judge to sign off on.

Wait 3-6 months for useless judge to approve paperwork.

Wait 30 days for paperwork to enter system.

You now have 30 days to purchase a handgun. Otherwise you need to redo paperwork.

Well.... technically, since I served during that time (74 to 94) I am considered a Vietnam era veteran... :icon14: but there are so many that claim to have served in 'Nam, it's probably better I don't advertise that.

It's better to quote the 'official' record any way. I had a few really lazy unit diary clerks that didn't keep the SRBs (service record books) 100% up to date. Which is why a few deployments don't show up.....

I was a radio technician, so yeah, I was in signal. I worked on the radios that talked to the aircraft in Marine Air Support and Marine Air Control Squadrons. I worked on HF, VHF, and UHF radios and could to things with HF antennae that made it possible to talk island to island off a 30' fiberglass whip AND talk half way around the world.:tup:

God darn it, got to Killeen and the patient did not need my services and the hospital forgot to let my contract company know so I would not have to make the trip. Anyway, I still get paid plus mileage.

Thanks,

Do voice recognition Eminem I'm a little girl and you should use regular words and tell a story what's the weather little girl she wondered in the world and then a wolf Kira the butt and then it scared her but he said why don't you pick these flowers and then she pick them so then he went to the grandma's house and ate the grandma and but what does Grandma taste like? Depends.
