It's official, I'm job hunting. I have a relative that has been bugging me to apply to Cerner, telling me I need to work there. The current company has a board meeting tomorrow and with the level of uncertainty, it is prudent to be looking. :shakes head::shakes head:

It's no fun looking for a job at my age.... :eekdance::eekdance:

I applied for my old position that I retired from for chit and giggles. Got a reply back about 3 weeks later. Told me that I wasn't qualified for my old position. I'm the one who wrote the job description to begin.

Thanks for the info. Sounds too complicated for my skills. I may just go the route of having the bumper repainted professionally.

Claying isn't difficult....

Try that first and then proceed to paint if no go. Hello from cedar Park!

Cerner definitely pays the bills. Clinical Engineering roles in the hospitals themselves pay handsomely too.

Dang... how did they explain that to you? More importantly are they going to get it repaired correctly and quickly for you?

They will pay to fix but that Fly1 front bumper took over 3 months to get.I had it up on rack tonight but just had to walk away.Makes me sick.Have been working on car for 8 months and would have been done and driving this weekend.

You need to put some mods on it & it’ll step-up!

I tried, but the rusted frame is becoming an issue. And I get free butt massages all the time due to the motor mounts being shot 100k miles ago.

jchammond 06-07-2018 07:13 AM

JLarson got me looking prematurely for my next Z....it’s about coming down to a few color choices: Passion Red, Silver or the new Blue.
OTW home from training; may stop by & sit in a couple.
:)

Leingod 06-07-2018 07:13 AM

Btw Hammond. Thank you for trying to help last night. I was certain it was a wheel bearing, but the no play while wiggling the wheel has me second guessing myself now.

I'm glad to have been a bad influence! The new blue is amazing. If I didn't already have the best color Z, I'd consider the blue. :icon17:

My 40th high school reunion is coming up next month in Coronado, CA. I have been getting emails from people from whom I have not heard a word since graduation. I look at the list of people who are going and they are the same people who were the "popular" kids in school. I was not one of those. None of the outcasts, stoners or rebel types are going it seems.

My dilemma is this -- why go hang out with people I did not like that much in school?
