Good morning Guy’s; getting everything packed up to head south.
Been a very enjoyable/eventful week, with plenty of things accomplished & still a little more to go. Hopefully i helped to lay the foundation & get everything pointed in the proper direction for Madwi.
I’d love to stay until the remainder of the Journey; but Work at home is calling.
I appreciate Madwi’s Family welcoming me into their home & felt just like part of them.
I’ll post more later after I get home & settled in.....I’ve been on forum very sparingly lately.
Y’all have a Great Day.
Joby
:)

We got a lot done and made really decent time on the turbo install. Sadly the CJM stuff wont be here until today or tomorrow. Ill tackle the fuel stuff this coming weekend and button the front end back up.

Glad ya had a good time, you are always welcome back.

Leingod 09-10-2018 08:05 AM

So what you're saying is that we can do a full turbo install in a weekends time next season on my car. Right?

Leingod 09-10-2018 08:06 AM

Also. Where has Beatty and Zoren disappeared to?

Still waiting on these race ramps to arrive. I want my 72 inchers!

Hotrodz 09-10-2018 08:53 AM

Well I got the Z all washed and she is clean and shiny again. She is happy because she got some corn syrup and now she begging me to take her for a high octane adventure.:driving:

Leingod 09-10-2018 08:56 AM

It was 60° here yesterday, and frankly I'm feeling a bit cranky that it'll be 70 by this afternoon.

Don’t lump us all in that.

Really for better temperatures so I can get the G out of the garage!

Leingod 09-10-2018 09:33 AM

Those ramps will arrive and I will finally know what it feels like to be Hotrodz/madwi. No more living vicariously through them and buying their used parts. hahahaha

Fit is getting a new tire. Third replacement this year. The wheel and tire protection was a worthwhile investment. $500 for 5 years and already saved $300. Plus I will be refunded about 80% of the $500 when I dump the Fit.

Poor lady in front of me had 2 kids in car seats and was by herself trying to get everything to the rental car counter. Her service advisor helps by grabbing one small diaper bag :shakes head:

So I ran over and grabbed the car seats for her...

Never got over 60 yesterday. I was thinking about turning the furnace on last night.

I was on my couch immobile and numb lol

also im very mad i didnt put $100 on the browns like i wanted to. you wanna know how the NFL is probably rigged? 21-7 with 7 min left in the 4th yest somehow that nonsense goes down and the browns covered the 3.5 spread by it ending in a tie.

Rusty 09-10-2018 11:13 AM

JL, if you are looking for a chain saw. Get a Stihl. I have an 039, with a 24" bar, and a 3/8 rapid cut chain. It's a good all around chain saw.

A team has 6 turnovers and doesn't lose?

Don't keep us in suspense! Color? Trim? AT/MT? Stock or modded?

JARblue 09-10-2018 11:41 AM

Completely forgot to mention that I got pulled over in the Lexus the other week. Ticket for an unsafe lane change :o

I didn't bother to complain and won't try to fight it. Because he left off the ticket the part where I made the lane change at about 20 mph over the speed limit ;)

Funny you say that, after researching last night for a while, that was my wife's conclusion also. We'll definitely pick one up. Thanks Rusty!

Don't waste your time on anything else. You can get parts for a Stihl that's a hundred years old. I bought mine back in the early 80's. I've taken out brush, to trees that are about 4ft in diameter. I'm on my 3rd bar and about 12 chains. It's fun when you are sawing through a tree and see sparks coming out. Only to find out that you are sawing through a stone that's in the fork of the tree.

Rusty 09-10-2018 12:02 PM

Oh, I paid $429.00 for mine. I don't think the price has gone up that much. The 039 is going by a different model number now. Think it is the MS 391.

Also bought a Stihl weed eater. Got the attachment to trim trees too. Works great.
