The street in front of the house looks like a river. Rain, rain and more rain. Plus it got COLD. It's in the high 50's. I had to put my jeans on. :icon14:
|
End gf the month and I put mine away. Gets to cold for the tires to grip reasonably well and we have had snowstorms hit in early October in the past....

Good morning Guy’s; getting everything packed up to head south. Been a very enjoyable/eventful week, with plenty of things accomplished & still a little more to go. Hopefully i helped to lay the foundation & get everything pointed in the proper direction for Madwi. I’d love to stay until the remainder of the Journey; but Work at home is calling. I appreciate Madwi’s Family welcoming me into their home & felt just like part of them. I’ll post more later after I get home & settled in.....I’ve been on forum very sparingly lately. Y’all have a Great Day. Joby :) |

Morning all! Busy weekend. Went out to do some yard work on Saturday during a period of relatively limited precipitation. I've been going section by section (yard is 2 acres, with areas to the rear and side that are forested) and slowly cleaning it up from years of neglect during the tenure previous owners.
Tackled the side yard, and discovered that vines have grown throughout, climbing most of the trees there, and killing several. After 4 hours of tree removal (cut down 3), limb removal (not mine), digging up vines to tear them out by the roots, and raking... man I was shot. Chainsaw housing got so hot it started melting. Piece of crap was meant for occasional trimming, not real cutting. Looking into a more sturdy replacement. |

Morning guys. Close to anew thread. This place has slowed down significantly.
|
Kinda sad when I look through old threads to see the former levels of activity compared with the slow pace of today. The other sad part is that there are definitely more mods available towards the end of a cars life cycle. Early adopters miss out!
