Gilbert. Yeah, it was 115 last time I was there. Glad I installed the oil cooler! But was in traffic, oil was fine, but water temp started making me nervous!

My God is separating 25 pair strands of wire horrible when it's tough to differentiate red, orange, and brown.

Sometimes they're hard enough to get out of stock.

I had a job where the customer was too cheap to buy patch cables. 60 patch cables. Ok, Ill make the cables. I have not the greatest eye sight, and meticulous and take my time with the RJ45's. Ended up costing them more by me charging my hourly rate to make the cables than if they just paid for them.

Im so glad now I have customers who dont question me hiring a data company to do all the new runs and ordering quality cables.

Apparently they are. My GF and my parents all bitched about it.

They praised me getting rid of the Z for that reason alone, haha.

Training for telecom stuff. It's fun, but tedious. And my eye sight already isn't the greatest.

I can do crossover, patch, and t1 all day without much struggle. Memorizing a 25 pair in different groups and then splitting them is a whole new territory for me.

Primary: white, red, black, yellow, violet
Secondary: blue, orange, green, brown, slate

And we are dealing with quad pairs. So 100 strands per setup. 4 lines per row. It's a mess. Got thrown right into the fire. An least white and black are easy enough for me. Hahaha

Your dad single, my mom will be 85 on the 12th and still driving a full size truck anywhere she damn well pleases. She drives three hour to see me every few months when she is out west.

My right hip has been replaced, both my knees have torn meniscus, and a touch of arthritis in my back. I get in and out of the Z with little problem. The way I do it is. First, open the door. Point my azz towards the inside of Z. Sit down in seat. Swing right leg in followed by the left. It's really hard if you do the left leg first. :icon14:

Why Run Backwards You'll Vomit ( white red black yellow violet).. just remember that blue and violet aren't in the same group). are the primary.. the rest secondary. Or hire a data company

That was about the only good thing about data cabling... keeping all the left overs.. I used to quote a lot more than needed just to be safe. Like 25% more..hehe

Is that a "repurposed" rack?

I just replaced 3 Esix servers with a nutanix appliance and a bunch of Cisco switches. I can probably make a good penny turning that stuff around to a cheap company..lol

bunk 08-06-2018 07:17 PM

Not sure what the 6.7 requirements are. Probably not as these machines are well over 10 yrs old..lol

madwi 08-06-2018 07:29 PM

Time to wander the halls and chat with the staff. Make it appear like I am here to help them out lol.

bunk 08-06-2018 07:37 PM

Just carry a stack of paper, walk around like you're concerned about something or looking for something.. while referring to the stack of papers ever now and then..

bunk 08-06-2018 07:43 PM

Quick nap before heading to arizona. Good evening all!

My mom died 24 years ago this month, pops is in demand and always had a girlfriend ever since, at one time he was juggling 3 at once :happydance:
One in Florida, one up in northern Mich. & one by his house! It seemed like a lot of trouble to me, but whatever ......

We were at a memorial service once and I actually witnessed this woman try to give him her number :bowrofl:

Clipboard and a stern look! I like to mess with them by jotting notes on my clipboard while sighing and shaking my head. When asked I say, I am sorry I am not able to talk about this audit, just yet.
When we got new APs I told all the staff they had cameras built in and live feed to the IT office. :rofl2:
