I had straight cut gears in my 440 Dart. It gets old after awhile. :driving:

madwi 07-29-2018 11:16 PM

I could never have it on any of my cars unless it was a dedicated track car. I cant imagine having to listen to it on a streetcar :icon17:

Rough night. :( Jake, my 10yr golden retriever went out when I went to bed. Then about 4, he needed to go out again. My wife wakes me about 5:30. He's stuck on the kitchen floor. Can't get up. He can't get traction on the tile floor. So I help him up. Gp back to bed. Think I got about 4hrs sleep total. :( I know went I come home from work. I'm taking a nice nap.

JARblue 07-30-2018 08:25 AM

So sorry to hear about Jake, Rusty :(

I hope it is nothing serious.

Sorry to hear about Jake buddy. My pointer will be 15 this fall and his back end is getting worse. I will take him to bird hunting camp again this year just to take him as it probably will be his last trip. I can't believe he has lived this long.

Busy morning at work. Trying to track down an issue we are having with our powder coating department. Problem with adhesion on our test coupons, but physical parts do not appear to be suffering from it. Just cut the coating on a 10k part to ribbons, couldn't get anything to come off.

Test coupon, OTOH, half the powder came off. Going to be a long day.

Taking calls for a couple of hours, then heading to see the new Mission Impossible movie. Dinner later today with friend at Texi-Can Mexican Rest.

Nothing serious. He's just winding down. He has never been real active. He's a couch potato. He's starting to lose some muscle mass. He blew his right knee out two years ago. He's never quite recovered from that. Now he has a bad right hip. So when he lays down on tile. He has a hard time getting up. No strength in his right leg.

Used to do thermo spray coating. Flame spray molten metal on to parts. Used Metco 6Pgun and I can't think of the other one. Also plasma sprayed with Metco 12E gun. Everything we sprayed had a test block that we had to check the hardness on. If the hardness was too soft. We had to machine off the coating and respray the part. I enjoyed doing that type of work.

That would never fit in my garage. Anywho, I'm lifting bodies off of cars, so I'm going to need a two post for sure.

Straight from them is probably easiest. They actually are not that expensive. Some of the Made in the USA lifts get real pricey, real quick. Mohawk, worth and challenger lifts come to mind.

If I did it again, renting a bobcat with forks, delivered to the hous would be money well spent.

I am leaning towards this though.

I started looking at 2 posts lifts then decided I was running out of room in the garage for all the crap. Wanted to be able to park two Zs in one bay during winter.
