What a good day. No emails from work, good sushi for dinner, fun parade this morning, bought Jar`s mirrors and now time for fireworks at the fort built in 1758.

7 boys, 3 girls here. We get along very well. I've got one brother living in Norway, and a sister moving to California, but otherwise we all stayed pretty close. However the way technology has impacted us is very different. I was watching my little siblings at 6. No tv until I was 8 or so (probably explains why so many siblings). We made our own fun. Legos, stick fights, building forts from scrap lumber, hiking, backpacking trips. Computers were not new, but just starting to be accessible to the general public. I remember MS DOS. Programming in gw-basic. Having to know something about a computer just to turn it on (started with an 8088). In my late teens, cell phones were a novelty. Text messaging was bizarre. Whereas my youngest sister is absolutely a part of the selfie generation, using snap chat as a primary form of communication.

Weird being a part of that generational divide, having seen both sides.

Leingod 07-28-2018 08:28 PM

And I have a sister who could drop dead right this second and I'd be out at a bar to celebrate.

I had no idea on that. Sorry EW.

Netflix and chill" is an internet slang term used either as an invitation to watch Netflix together or as a euphemism for some form of sex, either as part of a romantic partnership or as a booty call.

Do I get 56 raceramps with extenders or just go for the 67s?

Taking my time putting it together. Posts have cross members mounted along with the locking ladders and top plates.
Need to jack up the crossmember and lock it into position so I can run the cables.
Office job has made me forget just how heavy steel is. :icon17:

Fancy. Where's the best place to get Bendpak. They are typically pricey.

Straight from them is probably easiest. They actually are not that expensive. Some of the Made in the USA lifts get real pricey, real quick. Mohawk, worth and challenger lifts come to mind.

If I did it again, renting a bobcat with forks, delivered to the hous would be money well spent.

The longest one they have.

JARblue 07-29-2018 05:57 PM

Played like crap today except for the driver was on point and I sank a 40 footer for par. Ended up meeting some friends at TopGolf after the round. Sore and tired af
