Well boyZ, everything was going good, I started to bleed the brakes, well I was on my first one (the passenger rear), it went good.. then I went to top off the master cylinder with the 2 bottles of RBF600 I had, come to find out both unopened bottles were bad..
How were they bad you ask? Well, I poured a little bit into the master cylinder, and saw the fluid to be damn near clear as water.. I guess I had the bottles for so long, the fluid went bad. So now I gotta order more which means, the car will be down for a few more days. |
You guys should live stream the Mod party.

however, on the bright side of things.. I got teflon tape on all the bleeder screws, I put 15 psi of air in the system, it held it pretty well (about 93%).. I ordered 3 bottles of RBF600, I'll have to start over and get all the sketchy fluid thats in the master cylinder out, hopefully I'll be good to go in a few days.

I can't spell either when using my phone. So many typos....

EW, bleed your brakes a couple of times. Then after a month. Get the brakes real hot, like when you are bedding the pads in. After you do that. Bleed them again. This should take care of any remaining moisture in the system. |

Outlook is great for the weekend and me getting started on installing stuff...
WEEKEND WEATHER No other way to describe it...the weather will be nasty this weekend. Rain is likely on Saturday and Sunday that could be heavy at times. 1-2" of rain is likely. There could be a thundershower in the mix, esp. south of I-94. It will be windy and much colder. It's quite possible rain will transition to freezing rain and sleet to the north of G.R. The transition to freezing rain will occur much sooner north of Grand Rapids resulting in significant amounts of ice (up to an inch of freezing rain possible in the Winter Storm Watch area. This will coincide with strong easterly winds, gusting to 30-35 mph. The combination of the could produce power outages due to fallen power lines and very difficult travel conditions. Temperatures will be mostly in the 30s Saturday and Sunday. Precipitation will change to snow Sunday night |
Going to be a fun day when you wake up to a multitude of emails
