Awaiting the 1/64” dusting of snow in the Carolinas. Schools will close early. There will be no bread or milk for 250 miles of here. Fortunately few think to just go buy beer and chips, but I do...:ughdance:

It is ******* cold, I will not help. Just a fair warning. There will be a fire in the fireplace if you need to thaw out.

Happy Friday!!!

Long Tube Headers going on this weekend! Kind of excited for that, never tackled a project this big before. My Z's have all been learning experiences.

How's everyone doing today? Work has finally calmed down again, new ISO9001 system is written, Engineers are no longer interrupting me every few minutes with inane questions born from a lack of real world experience... ahh it's a good day. Company party tomorrow night with free food and booze!

madwi 12-08-2017 11:55 AM

Good luck, man! That looks like it is a bitch of a job.

I expect it to be a pain, but I've got a friend with a lift helping out, and he's done this before (albeit with a 350). The lift will ease some of the annoyance of the process, and hey, its MOAH POWAH! :driving:

I bought the server

madwi 12-08-2017 12:14 PM

It was cheaper to buy the whole server than it was to buy 144 GB DDR3 ecc memory

BendPak HD-7PXN Super-Tall Narrow Four Post Lift, 7,000 Lb. Capacity

Looks good! If I could accommodate that in my garage, I would. I'll have to go with something that requires less room side to side or can be moved :-/ At least until I expand the garage. But shhh! The wife doesn't know my secret plans yet.

This big bastard of a UPS was slated for recycle, with good working batteries. Mine now, although I think I broke my back and possibly tore tendons carrying this behemoth downstairs. :icon17:

And here it comes from across the pond. I went and checked my supplies. I should be able to make it until morning.

JLarson 12-08-2017 01:26 PM

Mmm, I'll overlook your Coors and Bud Light since you've got a decent IPA and Angry Orchard in there.
