Indeed. Bugatti and Lamborghini too if I remember correctly. I guess I'm shooting for more a 370Z roof line / glass look in the Ghia.

What a lovely afternoon. I am pleased to report that the Z is still as efficient as ever at wasting gas and tires  :driving:

You know, mine isn't quite as efficient at wasting gas as I had thought it would be.. Even when I spend a whole tank boosting all over the place I still get nearly 17mpg.

That's a full tank though. I get damn near 30 mpg on the highway, so it does a pretty good job of evening out. I'm usually around 19 in town - I beat on her regularly but not for long stretches. How often do you mostly WOT 19.1 gallons of gas straight? I wish I could say it was a lot more often :driving:

Very true. I guess my expectations were different considering that, back in high school, I could get my RX7 Turbo down to single digits for a tank. That thing ran like crap, though.

JARblue 04-05-2017 03:54 PM

Plus we should clarify that using gas in a Z is never a waste

I might even argue that it's more of a waste the better gas mileage you get :stirthepot:

Dunno. I called to get mine out of storage this weekend and I can't because the guy can't get hold of the owner parked in front of me. I'm being blocked in by a base model C class Mercedes.....

I put a few laps in at COTA (literally only 6 total laps cuz no oil cooler :() back in 2013 and calculated <13 mpg including the 80 miles of highway round trip. So I'm sure pretty sure I was in single digits on the track.

But you're right ... the Z has pretty amazing gas mileage considering what it is. And especially compared to some other vehicles out there.

My special blend of tea!
Sugar (replaced by High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in much of the United States)
Concentrated orange juice.
Citric acid.
Natural flavors.
Sodium benzoate (preserves freshness)
Caffeine (54 mg per 12 US fluid ounces (350 ml)
Sodium citrate.
Erythorbic acid (preserves freshness)

To consider something along those lines might the 912 not be a better candidate?

Time to pad my count while everyone is sleeping.

madwi 04-06-2017 12:17 AM

New phone incoming! Iphones do not like to be dropped on their corners.

madwi 04-06-2017 12:17 AM

Hope it is still a iphone 6. I dont want to buy a new holder for the Z.

madwi 04-06-2017 12:24 AM

New crimper/cable stripper tool works really well. No cutting into the twisted pairs when stripping the cat6, that is always a plus. Crimper works well on rj45.

madwi 04-06-2017 12:35 AM

I think I might run some new lines of cat6 in the house. I could use a couple more outlets in the living room.

ChaseZ 04-06-2017 12:38 AM

Yeah I need to pull some for the tv's so they aren't connected over wi-fi.

Same. I still need to redo my media server. I might buy another thermaltake core P5 and mod it so I can have my media server hang on the wall too. maybe toss some watercooling to the drives too :rofl2:
