I dont think I will need them since they are so long already.

madwi 04-06-2017 07:49 AM

If they are not long enough I have a bunch of 2x12s here

Those mini ramps I got last year barely clear the front bumper. I was just curious as I still want to get the RR's at some point.

Just ordered this. I know it's a crappy Black and Decker. But it has interchangeable parts. I got the impact driver with it. Even if it's not as strong as a full fledged impact driver, should be enough to hot swap wheels and remove all the screws from the undershroud.

According to one of the reviews, this is only a 1/4" drive. You'll need 1/2" for wheels and a torque wrench for final torque. You would be better off finding a dedicated 1/2" electric impact, since you don't have air. Bosch makes a good electric impact, along with Porter Cable. :twocents:

:bowrofl:

I bought my compressor at Home Depot, its a Husky and does well for tires and most everything I need to do on a car. All my air tools are from the rolling crack dealer (Snap-on) along with a couple of digital torque wrenches. Be warned, this how your tool collection starts... it's a never-ending addiction... You better buy a HUGE tool box now... :owned:

I was an aerospace machinist just under 15 years. I had a ginormous Kennedy (brown wrinkle finish) roll-around.

madwi 04-06-2017 09:29 AM

Moved the springs from basement to the garage. One step closer :icon17:

I started with a 12 drawer Craftsman tool box and I've been upgrading (getting bigger) ever since. I now have a Snap-on Corvette box (cue the bad jokes) that is 6 foot long, 20+ inches deep and stands about 40" tall. It takes a flat bed tow truck to move it. :icon14:

Oh.... and it's full.........

Time for a bigger box.......:owned:

Dont hold your breath but I might have a picture us hoisting a gigantic snap-on box to the ceiling of the machine shop. It was the new VP's first day and we thought it would be funny. It was a thing of beauty swinging 30ft in the air. We used the 40 ton hoist just in case :icon17:
