might want to read up on it. i mean a little scratch on the springs wouldn't really hurt anything but since u live in a road salt state..

BoneZ 04-02-2017 05:51 PM

I wish I would need spring compressors.

kenchan 04-02-2017 05:52 PM

EW: I just ordered a spring compressor from amazon. Looks like we will do the springs in the garage. If I fly off the road into a tree because of springs, I am going to haunt your *** for ever. :icon17:

Yah make sure you crack loose the top nut (on da shaft) on da front struts BEFORE removing them off da car.

Otherwise u might have a hard time loosening it unless u use an impact gun.

I do all my sus mods using hand tools as our community does not allow air tools due to "noise". :shakes head: HOA can :gtfo2:

Yeah but that means you got the tools for essentially nothing.

And have them for next time.

kenchan 04-02-2017 06:39 PM

I guess some one more qualified dan me was trying to start a private car repair service on da weekends and it pissed off the neighbors due to noise and bunch of cars in da visitor lot.

Air tools and car repairs were both forever banned.. doing car maintenance like oil changes is fine but once u start doing mods dey come to u to check on wat ure doing. :ugh2:

kenchan 04-02-2017 06:41 PM

And yet dey allow dogs to shittt on my lawn. :ugh:

dude, we should be able to knock this out with no issues.. just remember, you need a day or two for the springs to "set" then an alignment.

dude, I would say while you're in the mood to spend money, it would be a good idea to pick up those front camber arms, you could knock out both at the same time.. the springs and camber arms.
