Thanks I will. I'm going back to the first boat I was on 11 yrs ago.

A lot has changed but it will be good to be back on something that sinks on purpose.

Another fun story:
my shop was in a rough part of town and gun fire was not uncommon to hear during the nightshift.

We made a prototype gun that would shoot a tracer round and the ships big guns would use that for trajectory readings and accuracy. Since we ran the nightshift, we thought it was a good idea to test it out in the parking lot a few times

We had so many police cruisers show up and got our asses chewed out.

We also used to light titanium chips on fire and burn holes into the blacktop.

you could say it was a....blast

All the hunters and outdoorsy people had a wad of fine titanium chips, looked kinda like a brillo pad. If you ever needed to make a fire, that stuff isnt going to go out real fast.

Burned a brilliant white too, totally felt like it was melting your retinas
