Ours holds quite a few too.

No idea what a cord of wood would cost. I usually have a couple stacks that are in various states of drying. We took out a dying oak two years ago and I am still burning all the wood from that thing.

madwi 09-13-2016 12:19 AM

First link I clicked on said that a cord of indoor burning firewood (hardwoods) is $200.

Looks like I'll be working from home today, being the wife's Ice Boy.

Old girl tried to go to work yesterday, she's a good 125 yards from the elevators which are right near the restrooms. By the time she made 2 trips down to the cafe and a couple trips to the ladies' room she was all tuckered out and her knee was pretty swollen up so I convinced her to take it easy today... It's never easy to convince her to take it easy, so I had my work cut out for me. :icon17:

Yup, same. Tees are starting to change also finally. This is perfect weather for me. Not cold, but not sweating either. Poor gf tho is freezing already tho. That's what you get for living down further south.

Leingod 09-13-2016 08:47 AM

Fak.

HR Lady: Can you and Scott meet me later? Need to talk about renovating the office which requires relocating all the desktops and phones

Me: uhhhhh, that's over 200+ PC's and 300+ phones....

HR Lady: Hence why we need to talk

Me: Fiiiine. Let me get some coffee first. I won't be as miserable at least.

Leingod 09-13-2016 09:00 AM

Sounds like a good time to hire some contractors to do the heavy lifting and you can supervise.

But it is cut and split to proper sizes for inside fireplaces. That alone is worth a chunk of change if you don't have a splitter and chainsaw and happen to be lazy. Personally, I don't mind choppin' and splitting the crap.
