Oh man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully find a good deal on some new rubber. What tires do you normally run?

I'm hoping Tony at Discount Tire will take care of me. He's a former Z owner and takes care of all my tire needs. Plus he's the one who originally installed these tires and told me about his buddy who was selling them.

I generally run Nitto Invos because summer performance is quite good, wet weather is excellent, wear isn't terrible, and price is right for high mileage DD.

These A/S3's I picked up because they were already installed on a set of sport rims a local Z owner was selling. Normally, I wouldn't buy all seasons for a sports car, but I have to say the traction in sub-40's temps has been great and is a vast improvement over any of the performance tires I've used (duh).

Once I get another DD, I will be looking to run something like RE-11s for autoX or track events. Eventually, I'd like to be serious enough to haul the Z to events on a trailer with slicks, but I have a lot of performance and driver modding to do before I get to that point.

I think reps are due :tiphat:

Sounds like you got a good plan  I love the Re-11's, they are way overkill for street driving, but they look pretty :yum: :icon17:

JAR is the only other person I have ever met to run NITTO Invo's. i love that tire so damn much!! Ran 245's on my Cobalt for summer. Plus, they looked sweeeeeet! Light lightsabers dueling with thick single grooves on the outside.

A buddy of mine ran them on his 2003 Cobra SVT Moostang and recommended them highly. I was more than impressed when he let me drive it. And yeah ... wicked tread pattern looks awesome with 305s in the rear :yum:

Friday RepZ passed out with mad respect. Due to a mistaken drunken click, one of you were missed. You know who you are and believe me, no disrespect was meant. I will take care to repatize you on the next round.

should be getting some 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 re-11's. Should i get some spacers as well? Stock sport rays.

killrain 12-16-2016 02:26 PM

Someone respond! Respond!

madwi 12-16-2016 03:27 PM

Check the meaty tire thread? Or the Will it fit? thread.

Not necessary, just depends how flush you want them to be. I'd mount them and put them on then order spacers if you want to push them out a little. That way you have exactly measurements for what you want and no guessing required.
