It's probably pretty handy stuff to have around.

I figure having an extra tube around cant hurt.

Couldn't agree more. Especially knowing first hand how good the stuff works

Beats the hell out of bolting on cosmetic upgrades!

This is what I can't stand. I tell the gf we should try to keep dinners cheap. Lifestyle here is way more expensive. What do we do? Get a freaking check for $132 for dinner. I let her pay it. I got 2 freaking pulled pork arepas sandwiches because they were tiny as **** and water. She ordered 2 appetizers, had 2 drinks, and a sandwich. Absolutely insane. She def can't afford this. Hell, I could barely swallow affording it.

killrain 08-19-2016 10:36 PM

Always wondered if very strong neodymium magnets would work. Attach a piece of metal to said body add-on, cover it with some thing soft material so it doesn't eat through the paint and put magnet on the other side.

I had considered years ago using those magnets as a way to temporarily mount roof racks. Figured NTSB wouldn't agree it being such a good idea and ultimately I never pursued it.

It's all on her. I told her going down I wasn't spending a lot of money on drinks or shopping.

Stick to street venders and sammich shops. The little mom and pop joints are never that expensive plus you get bigger portions too. THe diners drive ins and dives app has good places also that are on the cheap.

Ditto. My ex went shopping there with a friend for a weekend. I didn't even want to know what her CC looked like afterwards.

Too much urban jungle for me anyways. Heck I don't even like going downtown here, and it's all one big downtown there! No thanks

I do like going to Chicago, I try to go 2-3 times a year for the weekend. NYC just seems like it would be Chicago on crack and way to busy for me. :icon17:

Chicago is nice for that. When i was there a few weeks ago we went to the big fountain at night, then to the bean, and smoother park near by. It was beautiful at night. The city definitely looks cleaner and more peaceful at night.

Hot dogs, yes. Two inch thick pizza dough? Not so much :icon14:

Masterbeatty 08-19-2016 11:37 PM

Tomorrows agenda is a nice cruise through the mountains to a small town famous for apple pies and gold. Debating on taking the Z since it is sometimes too rough for my wife.

53 minutes until NAPA opens. They should open early on Saturdays, not later than the weekdays.
