Dad made it through surgery. :woot: It appears he had a small heart attack during the procedure so they had to do things the "old school way". He is awake and appears to be coherent so that is a good thing.

That is good news, Mr. Madwi.

Finally got a new winter jacket. Just ordered. I just hope it's warm enough on wicked cold days. haha. I need freedom of movement. Those 3 in 1 jackets are bulky and I'm not a big fan of the puffiness from down jackets.

JARblue 11-01-2016 05:21 AM

Morning all :hello:

Reps out :tiphat:

onzedge 11-01-2016 05:23 AM

Good morning!!!

Davey 11-01-2016 05:55 AM

:hello:

Got myself and the wife all moved in to our new building yesterday. Yeah, she works at the same company, and now sits about 20 feet from me... :ugh2:

No more flirting with the office hotties now... :icon17:

This is going to be interesting... She used to come visit sometimes for a coffee, from the other building, now if I lean over in my chair just right I can see her typing away on her computer... :hello:

Davey 11-01-2016 05:55 AM

Absence makes the heart grow fonder... :ugh:

Davey 11-01-2016 05:55 AM

It's OK I don't think I could be any fonder of her anyway... :icon17:

I moved out the house when I was 18 - I couldn't stand living with my parents.

Work on the other hand is different. My father and I have been working in the same office for nearly 10 years now. And my mom just joined us part time last year

onzedge 11-01-2016 06:56 AM

I was 17 when my parents had the "This is not working out" and the "It's us not you" talks with me and have been living on my own (with assorted wives and girlfriends) since...

goodogdamnam :hello:

adjusted the aim on my GTI's headlights in prep for end of DLS. noticed after lowering the ride the aim was too low. it's got the super nice lighting package so the real way would be to get it calib'ed at the dealer using their vag-com thingie but my dealer is sleazy so went the old skool approach using the mechanical aim dials.

got it perfect. :D

I just use the good ole "pull up and beam the headlights at a white garage door" trick.

Morning everyone. Supposedly to get up to 60 today although it's current 32 out now. The Z goes away either Thursday night or this weekend. Freaking guy hasn't gotten back to me yet about what time I can drop it off.

I'm sorta self conscious driving a sports car when we have frost on the ground. Like the people are just thinking. "Faking taffyapple. get a real winter car!"
