Good morning! It's getting cold, and I can't drive my Z to work because my wife can't get in and out of it yet... So I'm a little bummed I'm pretty much done with it for the year, unless maybe I manage to get it out next weekend. :shakes head:

The water beaded right off the Z this morning since it poured last night.

Interesting driving into work this morning... a bit busy, so I'll have to see if I can pull some dash cam footage later.

Here is the account of my encounter this morning with a PT Cruiser owner. I was quite surprised when he got out of his car at the stop light as if to approach me. Not gonna happen ... get back in your car old man :shakes head:

Damn upload so slow at the office ... it seems the video is still uploading to Dropbox. Should just be a few more min before it's done.

I'd just be afraid of some crazy guy already dumb enough to get out of his car in traffic, but to also possibly have a knife or gun on him. The Z is faster than a PT will ever be.

In Texas this is always a concern. I wasn't going anywhere in traffic, though.

I give you credit. I'd honestly either crap myself from some lunatic being that deranged, or i'd floor it to get away from said crazy.

Would jacking up the Z 1 wheel at a time cause any major issues? Just enough to get a stand under the front drivers side and then I'd go do the same on the passengers side. I'm not spending $200+ on ramps i'll use maybe twice a season. I just worry of frame flexing.

New DD purchased 3 weeks ago... 1300 miles on the odometer... Today I found 7 hail dents in the hood, 2 in the trunk.

The funny thing is, it hasn't hailed here in months.

I seriously am at a loss here. Did someone vandalize my car, carefully making hail-like dings with zero paint damage?

Did I, someone who can spot bondo and dings half a mile away, somehow manage to miss this obvious-as-hell ding on the trunk and one on the hood, that I can actually SEE WHILE I AM DRIVING, before I bought the car?

I really don't see how I could have missed them. I noticed a pretty decent ding as soon as I opened the trunk this evening.

Once I saw the one on the trunk, I found the one on the hood. I looked the car over carefully and found about 6 more at various points around the hood, and one more on the trunk, which are very small and which I possibly could have missed, but not the original one I found on the hood or the original one on the trunk it's SO obvious.

There are none on the roof/doors/etc (which are steel rather than aluminum)

None of this makes any ******* sense whatsoever.

REALLY don't have time to drop the car off to get it fixed and all that, either.

OK back to your happy thoughts now.
