wat type of a/s? if DWS06, they are actually very good. :D i run dem on my GTI and STI. STI's summer tires are dunlops though..

Because I have a family friend who fixes them up and sells them for dirt cheap. 8k for a 4 year old car with 30,000 miles sounds better to me than a 6+ year old car with 100k miles for the same price.

The cars being loaded is just a bonus. I just want a beater for winter and crappy summer days. If I can get a beater that'll last me 5+ years, even better.

kenchan 09-20-2016 05:42 PM

i c... did u ever consider spending more and maybe leasing a new car?

Yup, and it's just not worth it for me. I don't want to be locked in to another car that i may wind up hating. I can hopefully buy a used Focus or whatever and drive it into the ground. I'm not going to worry about dings, hail, etc.

sounds like a plan. it does save A LOT more money to buy a car and drive it for like 10yrs+

If they come out with a design/performance I like for a new Z, I will probably pick one up after they have been out for 3-5 years.

That car needs a little bit more power and it would be great. I like the looks of them too.

I want to see if they'll appreciate in value after a while. They're still rather rare cars. Or I'll sell it for the new Supra or for a Jaguar F-Type after I save another 30k haha.

cigarclifford 09-20-2016 06:49 PM

:D The Clifford's check list has been validated

Same answer. This one I really like some of the throwback cues, and since I had an original Z that reminiscence is important to me. Time will tell with the 2018, otherwise this is a long term keeper.

Yep. 200hp is shocking low for a car like that nowadays. Otherwise I dig it. A buddy has one and quite likes it. The admittedly small back seats, are at least back seats. Would be good to throw the kids back there from time to time. Beats the heck out of them rolling around in the hatch!

;)

Just attach a dog leash to the bar in the hatch and other end to kids belt loop, they will be fine. I grew up bouncing off the ceiling of a station wagon, which explain a lot :icon17:

kenchan 09-20-2016 07:20 PM

Yah I remember playing in the back of a wagon with my friends while going down the expressway. Dat was ok in da 70's and earlier

BoneZ 09-20-2016 07:30 PM

Hail friends.

Leingod 09-20-2016 07:32 PM

Crap... Now I am leaning towards the hatch for the Focus...

kenchan 09-20-2016 07:34 PM

If I had to choose a focus it'd be the hatch without question.

I use my cargo net to hold my sunshade down when not in use.

That's about it.
