yah, those things were huge.

I remember helping (get in the way of) my dad installing the record player, 8 track and all kinds of audio goodies when I was maybe 5. I think it was then I learned to cuss, a lot. We would chill and listen to "oldies" for hours.
All of the stuff back then had to have giant shelves.

The first VHS we had was something like this. Had a 20' wired remote control with like three buttons on it.

I always wanted Beta to win that war, but cheap won out like it often does.
