Well, as long as the surface is reasonably firm and flat ... it's not like the measurement is very accurate to begin with.

Dere is a reason I don't have suspension nor wheel fitment issues on all my cars.

my stock wheels fit perfect!

And if I ever get other wheels they will be exactly the fitment I want because I will use actual offset numbers instead of a makeshift plumb bob hanging from the fender

right, easy to figure out the range by calculation and experience. ive never used a toilet bob dangling off my ride.
