Home Sweet Home...

Mr.Ajer 07-07-2016 04:43 PM

Everyday I go to work people seem to just like cutting me off half way down when approaching any kind of turn mostly a left turn. Now I have noticed it is indeed more of the SUV drivers, ex: X5, Lexus NX, Q5, crv, Acura. I don't understand this, some do it the last second. I usually see it coming now every time, they start off behind me in the right lane then pull left and start speeding to pass me and get in front of me back in the right lane. All this only to be in front of me to make a right turn, some even do it at the last second when coming close to the stop to turn. My theory on this happening is they envy a person driving a 370z nismo, I let this happen sometimes when i see them in my mirror pulling up next to me but sometimes I just speed up. Sometimes I think " do they know what I'm even driving, why is this person trying to cut me off, I can leave you a mile back in seconds". I don't know if anyone has figured out why this happens all the time, if so I would like to know please, Thanks.

 Very cool. i will let her know that you guys enjoy them. She will be thrilled. She has been sending the cards out to the people on the prayer list at their church. Two ladies asked to buy a dozen cards each to send to people. I thought that was a cool gesture and she gets a few $ in her pocket to spend on more supplies for cards.

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:36 PM

goodpm everyone! :hello:

kinda waz raining taffyapple dogs and cats.. :ugh:

Ms Kerry should make up a large batch of holiday cards and for sure a market awaits these handmade work's or art

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:37 PM

so i saw an impreza 5dr and the GTI side by side today.. honestly the impreza looks 10x better even though it has a boxy mediocre shape. GTI looks like a faking diaper wrapped butt from the side. :icon08:

... butt dat would defeat the purpose. i want adaptive cruise control and bellz whistlez and crackerz.

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:40 PM

and a car i can hand off to dem valet folks without feeling uncomfortable.

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:41 PM

so i funneled all the trash down to 2 cars...

We have a few autos back home mostly automatic

Its not lazy at all Mr Ken

The technology for automatics has come along way Sir

Do what makes Ken happy. That's all that really matters at the end of the day..

-Clifford :tiphat:

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:43 PM

impreza can be driven all year long with no snow tires.. no issue handing off to valet, excellent adaptive cruise features. down side... SROW..:ugh:

GTI needs snow tire set, no issue handing off to valet, excellent driving characteristics, but no adaptive cruise control.. only collision avoidance..

yah, the DSG on the GTI is supposedly pretty great.. not sure about the impreza's cvt. :ugh: thing take nearly 10sec to 60mph too. :ugh:

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:45 PM

just about as srow as my wife's honda fit. :ugh:

fine for the most part, but no 'fun' motoring.

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:45 PM

butt den i have an STI for fun driving...

oh yah, and a Z..

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:46 PM

da GTI is like a halfarsed pos garbage where as the impreza is a full arsed commited pos garbage.

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:46 PM

in dis sense, i like the impreza's full commitment to be a pos mofo garbage.

The GTI is a great platform straight out of the box

Again a great choice for gas and go with zero mod's

Maybe a upgraded stereo system

-Clifford :tiphat:

kenchan 07-07-2016 06:48 PM
