I have a similar experience with Starbucks but I mix Metamucil in my caramel machiattos.

maybe where you live, but at the kroger i get it at the price doesn't increase and extras like caramel drizzle or whip cream are free :D

Actually, I had exactly the opposite thought shortly after it happened. The chunk kicked into the middle lane after me and hit a Honda Civic in the lane next to me. It pretty much broke her front bumper in half, rolled up her hood and cracked her windshield. After inspecting my damage to make sure I could drive to a shop for a better look, I walked down to the road to check on her. I was immediately thankful my situation wasn't worse. She was ok, but the car wasn't going anywhere; she had already called her roadside assistance.

I'm sure it fell off one of the trucks coming out of the construction site right there. It was already in the road and kicked up by a truck in front of me.

it would be good if there was proof, then you would be able to hold them responsible for all of the damage caused from it :(

Even though I know which construction site it most likely came from, I have virtually no chance of proving which subcontractor's truck it fell off of.

unless there's cameras around the area. you could possibly be able to request to see a video

Unfortunately, it's a short stretch of empty road with no facilities that would have cameras. The construction site appears to be a new complex with several buildings on the site, but it is the first development on this particular block of the highway and is not yet complete.

damn, all negatives followed by more negatives. hopefully the insurance covers all the after market parts

I have been informed that all I have to do is get quotes for replacement of any aftermarket parts that are damaged. I even called my agent to confirm :tup:

Thats good, also try calling the state dept. In CT if your vehicle gets damaged b a pot hole or any road debris you can claim the repairs paid for by the state. I think as long as you can snap a picture of it.
