GT wings should be banned unless it's a full out race car.

i think the interior/exterior section had a thread on GT wings. with the dressing u have already, im sure the GT wing will fit nicely. and given dat u haz nawz in dere, the look will match the power status.

madwi 08-13-2016 06:18 PM

I hate you all, I just ordered the Powertrix mines replica in CF.

madwi 08-13-2016 06:18 PM

Now to go look at GT wings :icon17:

forgot pw 08-13-2016 06:19 PM

They covered the hole on the side that kinda bothered me.

That will have to wait until after Fuji front bumper and hood.

forgot pw 08-13-2016 06:21 PM

GT wings are hated cause most people do it wrong. its like u have to know how to put it on a car, otherwise looks out of place like 22" wheels on a Z. lol

That is why I think it would look the best and fit in better once the front bumper is changed out. Then it will look like it belongs on the car.

wait, no screws? dat sucks. the point of the mines from an appearance perspective is having the screws which adds sporty accent.

forgot pw 08-13-2016 06:30 PM

i should get an add-on rear roof lip for my GTI if someone makes one.. my car looks like a hamster right now. :icon17:

after lowering all my previous cars i just got kinda tired of lowering and working on compensating for the shorter stroke. although, it would be nicer to tighten up the Z's dampers a bit. but i probably wont do it just for dat.

Pardon my bias against GT spoilers. I don't even like them on the GT3RS and that's factory

I agree, but just happen to prefer the standard GT3 spoiler.

If there is anything about the car that can be called 'standard' :)

Went over it twice with rubbing compound then once with a cleaner wax. Its not perfect but then again it wasn't perfect before as its an outside car. Got a bunch of scratches out though that I've been meaning to get to. Overall I'm pleased with the end result, made me realize how much the car needed a detail. If it was the Z I'd buff until it's flawless but the car is going back outside tomorrow so good enough :)

Neighbors were extremely apologetic. They offered to pay but they've had a streak of bad luck with a flooding basement, hvac issues, tree branch damaged the roof of their new camper so I told them it was OK. Mistakes happen. Upside is now I have a crazy clean DD and got to spend majority of they day in the garage!

ChaseZ 08-13-2016 06:48 PM

Getting back to the Z I see this as the perfect compromise between standard and a GT type spoiler

In fact if this powertrix add on doesn't work out think thats the way I'll go

ChaseZ 08-13-2016 07:22 PM

Just had a thought... is this Zspeed aluminum under shroud going to reflect hear beat up into the engine bay than the oem plastic piece?

I have really considered getting a nismo spoiler, they look so good to me. I dont know if it would really go together with the base back end, even with fuji diffuser.
