How long does a bottle last, in general. Obviously it could vary, but say it was set for WOT only between 3500-7000 and drove spiritively but not like a total a**hole.

Really depends on your jetting and how much is flowing. Guestimate would be around ten 1/4 mile pulls out of a 10lb bottle.

Found the answer.... In other words, NOT LONG lol

Q. How long will a bottle of nitrous last?
A. That depends on the level of power being produced. The formula for calculating your nitrous usage is: 0.8 lbs N2O X 10 seconds = 100 horsepower. I.E. If your system is jetted for 100 horsepower it will use 0.8 lbs of nitrous for every 10 seconds of usage.

**** it'd be more economical to run race gas all the time instead :icon17:

Are you planning on filling yours up at the hospital? :)

Nah, big mother bottle in the garage with filling pump. Gas company delivers a new one when that is empty. Easy peasy and a lot easier on the wallet.

You gotta remember, you are not spraying for a very long periods of time, stuff starts breaking when you do that lol.

Was just going by NE website which said expect 3.50-5.00/lb.. I assume it will vary geographically just like fuel or anything else.

A buck a pound in bulk and I'd happily consider juicing mine too! :D

ChaseZ 07-31-2016 11:30 AM

Got the VHT ceramic... last pic with the flame blued tips :)

Last quote I had was around $1.109-1.125 or something like that. 100lb tank is what they drop off.

Those are retail prices if buying from a speedshop or the likes.

Gotcha. Figured it would be a lot cheaper from one of the wholesalers. Those are numbers much easier to live with.

Still think it would be hard to keep off the juice though. Would take discipline lol

ChaseZ 07-31-2016 12:30 PM

One coat of one tip done. This stuff goes on super runny so going to take a lot of VERY light coats..

No turning back now lol

If this color works out think I'll repaint the engine cover with it overtop of the race red I shot the other day. Didn't expect there to be any metallic in a 'burnt' copper finish but there's tons. May be a bit flashier than I'd envisioned and not sure the satin clear will bring it down any. Just have to wait and see what happens I guess :)

Back up plan is a Cast Iron color they had, sort of a matte medium grey. If the bling ain't workin for ya go the complete opposite direction!

Set on loosely to bake in place.

Run 10 mins, cool for 20. Run for 20, cool for 20. Run for 30.

New firewall is in place. That was a headache.

Now time for some Sennheiser 598's and my behringer 802 mixer

That analogy is curious and it is making me think odd things about you.
