Default auto loan recommended companies, recommendations?

I have a 820-830 credit score.

On the market for a used Z, its extremely difficult to spot a used low miles car at dealers.
In the private sector have found a few but usually hit a wall at the moment of loan application.
The APR almost doubles for a used private seller, regardless of my Fico score.

Any good lenders which will offer a lower than 3.50%?, thats as low I was offered for 60 months.
BOA which I have been with them for more than 10 years gave me 4.10%, Navy Federal 3.99.

I have never made a loan outside a dealer so maybe those are the current numbers.

Try LightStream.com, which is owned by SunTrust Bank. I've gotten two 60-month loans on vehicles that are 4-5 years old at 1.99% with no loan fee. The funds were in my account the next business day and I'm set up for auto payments. Also, even though the purpose of the loan is to purchase a car, they did not place a lien against the title, so mine are free and clear. They cater to low-risk borrowers.

Rates are slowly going up. Penfed still has very competitive rates. Cost me $10 or $15 to join back when I applied for the loan.

Their refi rates are pretty good too.
