yep, u dont need ramps for this, my car was already up so just used my firemens' hose to wash down the engine area first before doing the sprinkler. 
just straighten hose down driveway, drive over the hose, hook up the sprinkler and just start the water and pull every min or two.
GJ on cleaning up ur wife's car and dd.
