i can tell u dat ive used a piece of wood (oak) as adapter for over 25yrs? longer? with no issue. so im pretty sure it works. but the pucks

i can tell u dat ive used a piece of wood (oak) as adapter for over 25yrs? longer? with no issue.
so im pretty sure it works.  but the pucks are nice. they come in all sorts of colors too. my jackstand has a narrow flat top with rubber shoes which fit perfectly on the hump behind the pinch rails.. so ive never had the issue of worrying about the car slipping off the jackstands. but for oil change and most work under the car, just use ramps where u can. much safer, faster. |
