Forever... can't wait until I get another DD and keep the Z clean... no hurry though... I love DD the Z

The brake cooling kit I just bought I fully expect to sit in my garage for 2 full years before installing. Because I think I want a nice car next. And that's how long it will be before I want to start up another car payment (Honda will be paid off or no more than a year away).

sounds good. i never thought i would keep any car more than 3-4yrs, but mang with my G going 12yrs dis year, my mentality seriously changed.

point being a lot of cars sold today are too refined.. like beside the fact they have power to compensate, but a fun car is not just about power. it's got to be mechanically feeling and dynamic, fun and have character.. quirks..

I'm not that picky, but I know what I don't want. And there are a lot of cars out there I don't want. I'm likely going to be looking for something that is very different from the Z. Either SUV or pickup or something luxury. Handling will be secondary because I have that in the Z. How it feels and drives will be key. I like features, but I don't need features. I'm not going in with preconceived notions about any cars and will do most of my research (beyond basic specs) after I test drive several. Budget is always a factor, but I expect won't be test driving cars much past $40K.

Of course, we'll probably have a kid in those two years, throwing all of those plans down the garbage disposal

nono kids bring opportunity. like u need STI

im at the age where lux cars should make more sense to me, but the kid inside prevents me from buying those cars. it's got to have something.. something unique..

Considering I'm going to drop 20K plus on TT, I better plan on keeping it for awhile.

I've got 2 cars on the pending list, a Juke and the Cayman (depending on what Porsche does to it). I'll probably get the Juke by fall and the Cayman is on the list for 2018. It seems that Nissan quit painting Jukes in Monterrey Blue in 2011, so if I want it match Belle, I better get on the stick.

If I special order the Cayman, I can get it painted Monterrey Blue for an extra 10K....

wow, TT

jukes are definitely cool. did u know u can buy nismo lowering springs for them? ive checked out a few juke nismos with those aftermarket nismo springs and they look pretty damn cool. vivid racing has them for a rip off price, but u can also order from japanparts .com i think they ran 400 or 450, up to 600. not cheap but worth it, i thinks.
