I just saw it tonight. I think it's a fake.

All the vids are conveniently distorted. Virtually everyone minus Dr. Tyler, is actually shown as credible testimonial evidence. The movie is based on an event... that can mean so many things or nothing at all. CNN actually had a story on the movie noting that a lot of Nome townspeople are agitated at the amount of recent calls people are making asking about the facts or truths of this movie and are simply denying it.

Overall I think it was an OK one time worthwhile watch..nothing more.

completely agree, I think it's fake.

This is a completely well done movie in my book. It is what it is. I didn't think it was scary. Some parts had an intense moment, can't really describe it accurately. I agree with the videos too. Some seemed like they tried to dub the sounds into the "real" video when the person in the "real" video were not moving a muscle, including their mouths.

All nit picking aside, I think this was a well done film, not what I expected. Entertaining but go in with an open mind.
