Telemarketers

We've all had them call us and send us worthless mail before. There is this one company that keeps repeatedly calling and sending me "FINAL NOTICE YOUR WARRANTY IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE" bullsh*t letters.

I got so fed up that I called the number listed and told the dude to erase my information, but the tool on the line kept trying to persuade me to buy their products. After about the 3rd time telling him to delete my info., I got really agitated and basically cussed him out.

Is there a law against cussing them out or do you think they get that all the time? Although this time, I did call.

They're in India too, they get it all the time

I usually just hang up but every once in a while I like to see how long I can keep them on the line. I kept one of those "This is Microsoft and your computer is infected" guys busy for 20 minutes before he finally got frustrated and hung up on me. I had to plug my computer and monitor in, wait for the computer to boot (that took over 5 minutes), log in (forgot my password but had it written down in the other room - another 5 minutes), &c, &c, &c. Yeah, I lead an exciting life.

My buddy get those calls too!!! He 3 way calls me and we jack with them. It's especially awesome because he doesn't own a Windows anything
