Also, is it easy to hide the wires? I really don't want to have wires hanging down, dangling everywhere.

I leave the wires hanging down on mine, but only because I also use the camera in my daily. The cord is pretty long, so you might be able to run it along the windshield and down to the power thing below the dash, but I don't know for sure.
