u guys familiar with roof racks at all? if so, how do you tie down long cardboard boxes and wood planks? was looking at yakima or something like that and

u guys familiar with roof racks at all?
if so, how do you tie down long cardboard boxes and wood planks? was looking at yakima or something like that and maybe straps. i want to get a bunch of planks to mod my basement rc track.  plus i kinda like the idea of having extra cargo space over the roof of my dd.
