Melody just liked the Honda because it was so much smoother and quieter than the Mazda or VW she drove. We ended up paying way more than our original monthly budget, but it's for quality and not features. We did get exterior, interior, and wheel protection for 5 years. Like seriously ... if she curbs a wheel, we take it to Honda to get it fixed or replaced. If a bird craps on the car and I don't get to it fast enough and it etches the clear, they repair or repaint the panel.
