A little skeet skeet action before the MRI, eh? Do they provide a nurse for you or do you have to bring your wife? Either way, you Canadians sure know how to do health care :roflpuke2:

On a slightly more serious note, I hope everything is ok :tiphat:

As long as the film and install is quality who cares!

Of course the morning I was planning to take the Z on a drive is overcast with rain forecasted in the next hour. Guess I'll do some work around the house instead and run some errands later.

I'm still having issues with my back. There is a pinched nerve that is causing my leg from the knee to my toes to be numb. MRI is needed to see the severity of it. Good times.

Everyone was sleeping when I left for the MRI, and still sleeping when I returned. I decided to surprise the family with breakfast. I made bacon and egg sandwiches. There wasn't any skeet skeet action this AM, but there is a good possibility for tonight. :p

Someone's gotta be in Atlanta to entertain you for the evening.

Here is an example of Adam's Super VRT on my Michelins...

Please forgive the post-wash surface rust on my rotor...

Wishing Fujimura would have at least sent a picture guide of how to install side blades... Wondering if I have to remove the oem side skirts, ugh.

Vegitto-kun 08-09-2015 04:09 PM

Well I was at lemans

https://scontent-ams3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...39&oe=567BF614

with parents's GT-R next to the Z.

The GT-R is a beast though.

Engine and gearbox are fully build.

Pretty much the entire HKS engine catalog has been used. Gearbox has been completely redone to handle the power. Also 4.1 liter stroker kit

The engine wasn't mapped fully so it kinda ran muh for all day driving so it's not at it's full potential(though tom mapped it some more while driving to lemans)

that engine bay though

https://41.media.tumblr.com/8b665e9a...daro4_1280.jpg
https://36.media.tumblr.com/05aace2a...daro2_1280.jpg

It got a dyno result of 764 hp and 1034 nm of torque. Bloody thing is a damn monster. can't wait untill the mapping is properly done.

It was a cool 3 days :stirthepot:

**** tons of GT-Rs since this was supposed to be a GT-R only event but they weren't getting enough people in so they opened it up to more brands like porsche and lambo and such. Also some nismo GT-Rs

( Click to show/hide )

ofcourse not much Z love muh.

There were supposed to be 3 racers from nissan themselves. Ofcourse nissan a week before the event just PULLED away ALL support and just dumped us so the organisator had to find professional racers in a week so people could still drive with them to learn more or just people who came along with somebody else.

Nissan really did a huge **** move for this event.

My parents didn't buy it for me. they did give me a loan. Loaned half from a bank and half from them. I couldn't afford to pay it up front and bank didn't want to loan the full amount because of my age and probably because omg sports cars are evil.

Leingod 08-09-2015 05:48 PM

Excellent day out in the vineyards. The Z found some amazing hills and corners to attack. And the girlfriend found our anniversary wine. Snacked on some delicious local cheeses with crustinis and some steak shish ka bobs. Finished with a nice long walk around an art park and beach area. Delightful and fulfilling day.
