Morning everyone. :hello: A good nights sleep and ready for round 2 of audio install.
My soldering skills have lapsed and my cheap $7 soldering iron burned up (like melted the handle and everything burned up) :icon17: I guess I will have to drive to work and get my good one. |

:hello:
Well, I didn't even get to take the Z out last night. In a fitting end to a shitty week, the dehumidifier arrived with some damage to the box and plastic housing around the top. I disassembled it to make sure nothing serious appeared damaged and then repaired the housing so it would be secure & the crack was glued shut. Then I asked my wife if she wanted to come for a drive and I backed the car out of the garage and she got in... And the garage door wouldn't shut. The safety sensors again. I had cleaned & realigned them like 2 weeks ago and have had the garage door open and closed several times even though the red sensor was blinking - which should not have happened. But it did, several times in a row. Until last night... So I had my wife help me park the car across the street and called the garage door people & they replaced the sensors. I could easily have done it myself but they showed up with parts and had it done in about 15 minutes. I just got done reassembling the dehumidifier & hooking up the drain hose to the sump pit, and it seems to be working fine. I hope the rest of my day goes smoothly and I get to drive the Z later. I guess I did drive it about 75 feet yesterday. |
holy hell, anyone wanting to upgrade door speakers, dont DIY it, pay someone to rip their hands to shreds on the stupid molex plug. F me. Drivers side done and I dont want to start the passenger side :icon17: What a pain in the ***.

Hair has been cut. Coffee has been consumed. Hands are still in tact from not dealing with molex cable.
