so last night i took a few of my old nicd batteries to do a 'wake up biotch' cycle to try to restore both peak voltage and run time.
i hook them up to an old bulb discharger i made like 20 yrs ago and discharged the batteries from full charge at a 10A+ rate. the battery gets so hot the decorative shrink wrap on the battery outside shrinks.  hahaha. looked like a taffyapple trapped inside a size small blouse.  i think next time i better put a fan on it. but i got 3 of them to wake up out of 5. will do another cycle on the 2 lazy fatarses tonight.
