I forgot just how much attention the Z brings when all cleaned up and sparkling! Breakin necks
http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...psvufzx9os.jpg Tires are just wet in this pic, no Super shiny tires for me. Some aerospace 303 to those for a nice matte, clean look  |
Griots soap from foam gun is OK, nothing special. Used in my buckets it is great stuff. Very nice lubricity

Vented hood works great loads of heat pours out at stand still (duh) and temps are about 8* cooler than before while driving. Still need more time to log temps though. vent blockers on bottom do not stop lots of water from entering engine bay. Guess I have to detail that now too, oh darn :icon17:

Lots of nice cars out and about today. Got waved at by a couple nice looking scoobies. Gave a wave to a sweet '56 chevy on the expressway. Declined to race a '70 Nova with a big hole in hood to fit the blower  Great day so far!

1956 Chevrolet a favorite car of mine. In High School daily drove a 56 Bel Air painted primer gray with a fiberglass tilt hood. 427 with enough torque to spank many  -Clifford  |

Finally mounted the camera in the license plate light housing. Ran wires to trunk and plugged it in  Yes those are dried water spots that will be cleaned up when I QD her and then wax.

Just ordered Griots spray wash, spray wax, a few more plush MF towels and some bits and bobs. I want to try the spray wax for when I dry the vehicle. I like the extra lube when drying, might as well wax at same time lol.
Edit* Oh yeah, and a new bottle of Four star polymer paint sealant. Great stuff. |
