The access door to the fuse panel pops off when trying to pop it back into place :rofl2: I am looking on amazon to see if there is a different style or configuration I can try if the other fuses don't work out.

Is this for the camera or mirror or?

Yes, the camera/mirror combo. It is the power wire coming out of the mirror and runs to the fuse box.

Our boxes look a bit .different. Did yours ever have that big white POS? lol
http://i327.photobucket.com/albums/k...pshoxtuw9i.jpg

I actually found out why it wasnt catching. The white plastic clip on back of kick panel got shredded somehow. Must have messed it up pulling it off. Removed the messed up clip and the kick panel now sits tight.
Going to have to order another piece now. Good thing it just slides in/out.

They draw such little power.

yep, and if you're worried you can just solder a 1-5A or watever fuse u want in series, and tape/zip tie the wire securely somewhere so that you wont pull it out by accident.

kenchan 04-10-2015 08:12 PM

I think the whole design is going to change. I took out all the plastic and foam from the hatch area and that opened up so much more space. I think I am going to start over and start making some cardboard templates to see what I can come up with.

madwi 04-10-2015 09:47 PM

Reps have landed.

I just saw your PM. Yes, there is loads of room in the rear hatch once you remove the foam. You could do a fully stealth installation, or go as wild as you wish.
