The question is: Is there any blood in the turnip?

If not, running it through a juicer may be cathartic, but that's all...

If GTM is Ch 11, the best anyone can hope for is turnip juice :(

I get what you're saying, but at least they should refund the money that doesn't belong to them. They do work on other platforms so if they want to continue to stay in business then do the right thing.

Funny that many people talk **** and big game.

Not many people are actually violent and will go and beat someone over $10k. Reason usually kicks in and you know it will cost you more than $10k...

But please, to the guys who want his address... It's online, GTM's is currently moving, so run over as fast as you can so you can beat his àss. Nothing would make me happier.

I'll even tell you what car to look for. A white Toyota Yaris. If that car is there 99% chance he's there. He doesn't drive, his wife drives him to work since the brain cancer... So... He might be there even if the car isn't there.

OP, as much as I'd not like to say that you're wasting your time by coming out... You're wasting your time. Sam will not show up to court, and you will win. You probably aren't going to be getting your money back though... Because he won't pay. Best scenario when you get to CA, take a bunch of shít back with you... Like 1.5 times as much value as to what you paid and try to sell it all.

Good luck :tiphat:

IDK about the above bolded. People get into trouble all the time over a whole lot less than 10k. This guy is really lucky he didn't steal from someone who would get violent over that amount of money.

I just find it odd that this guy KNOWINGLY stole thousands of dollars from people on this site and hasn't even showed up to say anything about it and nobody has tried to visit them.

Firstly all the advice of stalking etc etc. Forget it. If you do that you will become the criminal and he can easily seek the help of the police issue warrants etc etc..then that will be used against you in a court should you seek to sue him.

My house basically was butchered in a remodelling job. Long story short the guy did not know what he was doing, had criminals on his pay role etc etc. He game and how he ripped people off was he would do the job and start but then would require additional funds to complete.

Went through this and that but the house had a gapping hole in it had to get another contractor to repair it and a couple actually would not because of the electrical wiring issues.

So I decided to take this all to court. Investigating here and there well the guy did it to others. The DA had no desire to pursue this since it was not a glamorous case. I still went forward only to discover this...

-He owed 280k in back taxes to the Feds
-He owed 50k in back state taxes
-He owed thousands in back child support.

My lawyer said after discovering this that I should drop the case...all of those people get paid before I get paid. So after over a year I dropped it. This whole thing cost me over 15,000 bucks to pursue only to hit road block after road block.

What I am saying is sometimes you have to just eat it. If he has failed to deliver on his product and it sounds like many have experienced this he probably owes money to creditors, Feds, State Taxes and all of those will be paid long before you are given one cent.

Small Claims court is one option but one thing you probably do not know is that when awarded money you don't necessarily get it at once. You can be put on a many years payment plan based on that persons budget. If hes broke well you dont get squat.

Cheers.

Ahh haa now you get into the legality of business's. In a court a person is on the lowest list of payback. His creditors come first.

I agree with you. But most people arent violent enough to actually get in someone's face and beat them over $10k. More than likely people catch a beating for insulting someone's family or whatever...

And again, the second part of the statement was that reason kicks in and says that IF you go kick the guy's àss for taking your money... You'll not only not get the $10k, but it will cost you more than $10k to get you out of jail...

OP is costing himself probably $3k to collect $7k. And the odds of ACTUALLY collecting that $7k is slim to none. Again OP, best bet is to do what the other guy did. Cash out on oil pans and sell them at a loss.

Zbrah 02-05-2015 04:05 PM

Violence is not the answer to solving this.

If this had happened to me I would be flying to ca and bringing some bail money... From what I hear though gtm is working on rebuilding the company and in about a year they should be back to normal but I find that total bs..

NoLaKrewe 02-06-2015 04:24 AM

Being from New Orleans I can tell you people down here are willing to do a whole lot for less then 10k. I understand that you may need bail money and **** like that but I'd be damn if I would sit by over 10k. That's months of work for some people for some scumbag to hold on to.

Tadpole 02-06-2015 05:36 AM

If they have filed chapter 7 or 11 you can kiss that money goodbye. Check into before you invest any more money trying to get it back. Call the BBC and report as well if you haven't already.

Zoren 370 02-06-2015 07:04 AM

How about try calling this guy? OP im sorry and Im with you its such a pain that nobody can really help and bring your money back. This guy must be even under the protection of the law from being harassed. I only wish this guy exist.
