I always thought that flathead Fords would have been better, but I guess Frey and Henley were just too damn young. Maybe they just preferred farm girls.

Yeah! If you like the Eagles at all, try to catch The History of the Eagles if you haven't seen it. IIRC it was on Showtime. It is beyond excellent! It showed how Jackson Brown accidentally kick-started Frey's career, which is why I was a bit embarrassed that I said earlier that Frey/Henley wrote Take It Easy.
