THANK YOU SOLARGUY

That's what I was looking for. You and a couple of more here have their heads on straight, your eyes open, and show some passion & even anger.

Sex & religion whackos from one side - liers, panderers from the other.

The biggest commody missing today is honest, intellegent, & petriotic leadership..

I'm done! The sun came out today & I want to enjoy it

Default more bad news

Watching the news. More regulation are coming to the natural gas industry. Must be because natural gas prices are at a ten year low I mean really
Since the other political party has a bunch of running, it looks like higher gasoline prices for the next 5 years, or we go bust whichever comes first.

Just gonna throw stuff in quotes and follow/trace my numbering.

Also, not intending to be corrective or preachy, just throwing out what I know/opinion.

(1)Well by 2025 gas might be/will be over $20 per gallon. So how much are we going to save again ?????

Obanamics?

Mods, I know I'm pushing it. If you tell me to stop I will. (please give me a warning before banning me) Might get a new 370z

I'm just mad that we are getting screwed from ALL sides. (2)There is more gas availible then we need, yet the prices are going crazy up, & there's nothing we can do about it.
(1) I have no idea what sort of projections his calculations take into account, but a savings is a savings. The better question is probably what will this push for increased efficiency do to vehicle prices? That answer, I have no idea.

(2) I read an article last late week or early this week saying that one of the contributing factors to continuely increasing prices (at least for the moment) is that global capacity for oil production is fairly close to max capacity in places like Saudi Arabia and other big oil producers. So while we may have more than enough actual oil (for a little while anyway), if we can't refine it fast enough, you have a classic supply shortage.

This is the cynic in me but,

(1) Incorrect
(2) Nope
(3) Yup
(4) I don't think we stopped.

It is worse now..I don't take sides, although i may have one, because i know that more than the rotten 535 politicians are at this...

Do you know that in the first 3 months of 2011, 5 of the largest U.S. Banks, made 55% profit on just their commodity portfolio's ? Just those guys. What did that do to the "recovery" ?

Throw in a failed policy fiscally and financially, and man we are in trouble..

If the two sides don't come together for the good of the people....We are in for worse before it gets better.
If fiscal policy were better, I bet monetary policy would not have to be trying to pick up so much slack.

Annnnd....$3.94 for me. Blarg....

Default Just cracked myself up - had to post

In 2008 our energy policy was to inflate our tires.
Now almost every day I hear on tv, "we have no quick answer" & "Algae" anyone?
In 1970 we were told the world had no more oil. What was that about??? Today Canada is begging for us to buy their oil & we are exporting gasoline we are told because of low demand. What???
We have no answers & algae, that is our energy policy.

Maybe it's not so funny.

finally hit the 4 dollar mark where I live. I paid 53 bucks today to fill my 2/3rds empty tank. Owner told me to expect 5.00 for super in the summer. What shocks me even more is that gas in Jersey is usually cheapest in the country. I feel bad for the rest of you guys.

EDIT: Also, don't believe in all the hype. The president doesn't even run this country. He's just a spoke person. If you do believe, you're narrow minded.
