Hey platyperz, you got it all correct. Thanks for reiterating my main points in this thread, which I thought were clear. Sometimes you get posts that are tangential, off topic, or misinformed, but I expected it from a forum having a variety of people.

Right now I am decided on a 370Z Base MT with Sport Pkg in white, pg, silver, or black. About a week ago, I shifted my decision to buying a beater and driving it for a few months and save some money so I can buy the Z on my own.
