It was really tough, and it's even harder to get into accelerated 6 year programs these days. Most programs require a bachelors degree, then you apply to a PharmD program just as you would any other graduate program. It was completely worth it though, and I really enjoyed my residency this year (it's an optional post-graduate training thing, I did it in a hospital in Philly). I say if you're looking to go into healthcare, go for it.
