Question new and already an adventure!

Hey Everyone, well I went to the dealer the other day to of course test drive and get pricing on the new 370z hehe fully loaded and they didnt have what I wanted but they said there was one in VA that they could get held for me from another dealership. I was optimistic and last night we went through the whole deal. I signed all the paper work and was supposed to have the car shipped today. well, I called this morning and what do you know the other dealership that was supposed to of held the car and not sell it sold it that night after agreeing to sell/trade to my dealership. Just so you know it was a fully loaded Pearl White with sport, nav, and every other option available. There was only 1 in the US as far as we could tell from the nissan network. well, they called there channels and supposedly they will know monday if they can get one straight from nissan this week.

So I have a question...

I had all the contracts signed and ready for delivery and since they are not able to deliver I can renegotiate pricing? correct?
Also the contracts are null and void? correct?

I was paying close to MSRP but now I feel like I should get straight invoice no questions asked for all the hassle and problems with the deal. Now they have my car and I am driving a loaner till they can get their stuff straight by monday if not I am taking my car and going home.

What do you guys think is the best course of action?

BTW I was trading in an 07 Laguna Blue s2000.

I think I am in a much better bargaining position due to the circumstances.

Mike

I'd say the contract is void IF it stated that you were to receive a 370z according to your specifications through a dealer trade. Otherwise, you may be stuck.

Anyway, welcome and good luck!

Talk to my sales guy today and yeah they are throwing away the contract because the contract was on the basis of the other vehicle and VIN

now just to get the new car at Invoice!!!

Congrats!! I was gonna say... the contract is usually based on said car with said VIN. Different car means new contract.
