Congrats on the new Z and Welcome to the forums!

I would suggest to get a minimum 19 row thermostatic oil cooler:
- gets really hot in vegas I'm sure you know lol. Have to make sure to keep the oil temps for the engine in check.
- gets cold in vegas during winter sometimes; that's where the thermostatic comes in, turns the oil cooler on at a certain oil temp just so you aren't cooling cold oil when your car starts.

Enjoy the Z!

Thanks for the advice. I heard these things had problems with overheating, but I thought it was mostly a track problem. I see there's a DIY on the install, how much will the equipment run me? I also want a CF hood with fancy vents to keep things cool.

If you are looking at some good products...
Oil Coolers----
Street use/NA:
19 row thermostatic oil cooler: Since the vehicles do have temperature problems and there were at times this summer in the Los Angeles County where I was driving in fwy rush hour traffic and the temps would get up to almost 250F (ignoring the fact that since the Z is cooled by the radiator and cold air flow and there is hardly any driving wind and the car was just sucking the hot air from other vehicles. this was when there was no Oil Cooler in mine). With Royal Purple and my mishimoto 19 row thermostatic oil cooler, when I PUSSHH my car I don't break 225F

Track Use/Boosted:
You shouldn't ever take the Z out onto the track without an oil cooler. You'll hit limp mode at one point eventually. (I believe it is 280F on oil temp, correct me if I'm wrong) 19 row usually will do the trick very well with no Boost. Once you put boost, you have to have a 25 row wide edition MINIMUM.. which is equal to the capacity of a 34 row. The bigger the boost lbs of pressure the bigger oil cooler you want to think about getting.

Vented Hood----
If you are going to look at a vented hood, I would personally go with the VARIS Carbon Fiber Vented Hood. Its lighter, more temperature effecting since it carbon fiber and the vents lol. I have 2 Varis Carbon Fiber Products right now (not put on yet) and the filament is beautiful Funny enough this is on my list of parts to do as well haha
