Ok, I recently traded my 12" resonated x-pipe for a non-res x-pipe...bad move on my part. Of course it was louder than my 12" system but the drone inside the cabin made it unbearable; the car was undriveable. I thought maybe it was me so I took the wife out to dinner and a movie in the Z; now she won't ride in it again. So, I weighed a couple of options and decided to get 10" resonators welded on the x-pipe. Well, the Z is driveable again. The drone is gone for the most part and what exhaust noise penetrates the cabin is somewhat pleasant / bearable. So, for those of you on the fence, learn from my mistake.
