Anyone custom fab dual intakes from these?

i've seen modshack's setup, but i don't think i'd custom everything like he did myself, so i was wondering about the BMC filters in particular

Well that's kinda what I'm trying to allude to (albeit not very clearly, I have to admit). It looks like the BMC filters might be a good way to replicate Modshack's setup (at least on the filter part of the equation) without having to custom fabricate anything. It's a good find. Well...let's say I'm not a fan. First, they are Very expensive ($300+ EACH), 2nd, they have an odd flow pattern (through the center of the filter, out to the shell, then swirled), and third they have swirl Tabs in them which disrupts airflow over the MAF (you want that airflow smooth for best readings). Some of that can be fixed, some not. I just sold one I bought to autopsy. The Thin CF tube is not much of a heat shield. The swirl tabs are curious....Kinda like getting a "Tornado" for free....(Woof)
